Power Band
Powerband goes back to Man O'War. He was a 16 hand liver chestnut purchased by grandparents George and Lynne Herides of Herides Farms, Ltd in Berlin,Wi. He was purchased originally to be gelded for Lynne as a dressage prospect, but was so good-natured and beutiful that he was used as a breeding stallion also. Power produced many dressage and hunters. Power's Cheetah was one of his producing daughters and dam of 15 foals, 12 of which were performance winners. Many of his daughters that were bred to the next family stallion, All She Wrote, were top producers. Power was ahead of his time for his AQHA foals as they were tall and looked like TB's.
His offspring bred to a TB mare took on the mare's personality and a little too high strung for the average trainer. That is when All She Wrote was purchased.

All She Wrote
All She Wrote, purchased for $300 had a broken sesamoid bone. After his x-rays were read they were told he could never breed. How ever he was big and beautiful with a wonderful mind and with Lynne's care and a lot of patience he had a long life as a breeding stallion. He passed his traits on to his foals and grand foals to both the Quarter Horse mares, Thoroughbred mares, and Sport Horse mares. The records we have are mainly from the AQHA records.
